Spoon Theory; A metaphor used by the chronic illness, disability and neurodivergent community to explain how their limited energy level feel like having a limited amount of spoons to spend on the day to day - where each task “costs” a spoon, whether it be 2 spoons to get up, or 4 spoons to tend to an appointment. It explains how a simple task could deplete the energy reserves, require a lot of planning, a lot of rest and create a greater challenge to survive from one day to the next. 

And there is never enough spoons.
